The Changeling Shadow Theatre Show- Performance
Doors open at 5pm. Performance begins at 5:30pm. Limited seating. Masks are encouraged during the performance.

Performed by Tania Yager, this one woman piece of shadow theatre is set in old Ireland, where an unsuspecting city dwelling couple moves from their home to a new cottage in the country. Not believing that the new land is inhabited by fairies, they ignore the local's advice for wards and charms and end up having their child taken by a grief stricken Elven Queen who has recently lost a baby herself. The sacred Lullaby of Min'Umbra is discovered and is used as a bargaining chip against the Fae Queen in order to get the human child back to its parents.  A deal is hatched and equilibrium is restored to the little family, but at a higher price than was expected. This is a feature length shadow show with a running time of approximately 30 minutes and utilizes darkness and light to convey images of the narratives. It is performed in darkness and contains sensitive themes of grief and loss, as well as magical realms and female empowerment!
